Our Story
Geobotics is a marine technology company based at Alameda Point in the San Francisco Bay Area. We design systems and build software that help owners protect, monitor and understand their subsea infrastructure, pairing more than twenty years of hydrographic survey and positioning experience with modern tools: 3D scanning and LiDAR, sensor integration, automation and AI. Software, Digital Twins & Systems Design
We build web portals and data tools that bring LiDAR, 3D scans and survey data into one place, so asset teams can see their sites and cables in context. We also design marine sensor systems and controls, including sonar mounts, positioning and autonomous-vessel systems, together with the firmware and software that run them. Our engineers and field operators work side by side, so every design is practical from concept through delivery and support.
Cable Protection, Consulting & Technical Services
We support owners of submarine power and communication cables with engineering, planning and monitoring, from route surveys to long-term condition records. We also provide consulting and technical services: project and program management, owner's representation, and technical advisory for subsea and marine infrastructure projects.
